ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Clerk of the Illinois Supreme Court seeks a highly motivated individual for the preparation, reviewing, and filing of judicial financial disclosures statements for the Illinois judiciary; completing accounting functions for the Clerk’s Office; answering inquiries from the public and filers; and assisting with the scheduling and coordination of judicial events. Ability to meet deadlines; handle interruptions, and maintain confidential information is required. Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Individual must be diligent, detail-oriented, and possess excellent word processing skills. Ability to perform accurate arithmetic calculations either manually or a 10-key calculator; strong customer service orientation; strong interpersonal skills; ability to meet deadlines; handle interruptions, work independently, and maintain confidential information. Skill in the use of a computer keyboard to access and enter data into the case management system. Must possess excellent written/verbal communication, comprehension and organizational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

A minimum of three years of work experience in an office environment, preferably a legal setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. An associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
