Probation Division welcomes Rizvi, Venvertloh to Pretrial Services

The Probation Services Division is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff. Sharjeel (Sarge) Rizvi and Wendy Venvertloh will be joining the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) in July. Pretrial Services has been an increasing priority for the Supreme Court and AOIC over the past few years. The expertise and experience of Sarge and Wendy will be instrumental in advancing pretrial practices in Illinois.

photo of Sarjeel RivziSarge is joining AOIC as the Pretrial Services Manager. He started his career in 1997 in Kankakee County and has been in McLean County since 2007 with the most recent position of Pretrial Services Coordinator. Sarge has also served as the Chairperson of the Pretrial Committee of the Illinois Probation and Court Services Association (IPCSA) as well as serving on IPCSA's Executive Board. Sarge holds a bachelor's degree in Criminology from Purdue University and a master's degree in Public Administration from Governors State University

photo of Wendy VenvertlohWendy is joining AOIC as the Pretrial Services Administrator. She started her career in 1999 with Adams County Probation with her most recent position as the Director of Probation and Court Services. As a part of her time in Adams County, she oversaw the establishment and then continued operations of their Pretrial Department. Wendy serves as the Co-Chair of the IPCSA Legislative Committee and as a member of the Illinois Judicial College. Wendy earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Minor in German from Washington University in St. Louis and her master's degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.
